Christmas is the best celebration here in the Philippines.
The spirit of Giving, Loving and Forgiveness is observed.
I had a friend who asked me "why you said Merry Christmas when it's just
December 23,...?"
And then I said, "Christmas is observe here in the Philippines as early as September
and lasts until the first week of January and was surprised by it.
Christmas Lights, Caroling , Simbang Gabi, and Noche Buena best describes Philippine Christmas.
And I would admit, there's none alike.
Filipinos celebrate Christmas eve with a sumptuous dinner after mass.
Where children have to kiss the hands of their godparents to be able to claim their presents.
Christmas is more for children.
Philippines have experienced devastating calamities lately,
But, it didn't stop us from celebrating Christmas.
In fact, it inspires a lot of people to give and share.
Donations are overflowing, to include manpower that comes not only from the Philippines
but internationally.
Thank you for giving smiles to the kids and to all the people affected.
Thank you for making Filipinos feel loved.
We will never forget it.
Philippines is the best place for Christmas because we Filipino
knows how to be happy beyond uncertainty. And that made me a proud individual.
